ইন্ডিকেটর এক ধরনের নির্দেশক, যা আপনাকে প্রাইস বাড়বে কি কমবে নির্দেশ করে। যদি আপনার অজানা থাকে যে প্রাইস কি বাড়তে পারে কিংবা কমতে পারে, তবে ইন্ডিকেটর আপনাকে সে ক্ষেত্রে সাহায্য করবে। এটা বিভিন্ন সিগন্যাল দেখায় যার মাধ্যমে আপনি বুঝতে পারবেন যে পরবর্তীতে প্রাইস বাড়বে না কমবে এবং সে অনুসারে ট্রেড করতে পারেন। এছাড়া অনেক ইন্ডিকেটর মার্কেট ট্রেন্ড বুঝতেও আপনাকে সাহায্য করবে।
মনে রাখবেন ইন্ডিকেটর কিন্তু কিছু নির্দিষ্ট ফর্মুলা দিয়ে কাজ করে। তাই আপনি যে সব সময় সঠিক সিগন্যাল পাবেন তা নয়। অনেক সময় ভুল সিগন্যাল আসতে পারে। আবার ফান্ডামেন্টাল নিউজের কারনে ইন্ডিকেটরের সিগন্যাল অনেক সময় কাজ করবে না। তাই অন্ধভাবে ইন্ডিকেটর অনুসরন না করে নিজের অ্যানালাইসিসকে এর সাথে কাজে লাগিয়ে ট্রেড করুন।
অনেক ইন্ডিকেটর রয়েছে। মেটাট্রেডারে ডিফল্টভাবে কিছু ইন্ডিকেটর দেয়া থাকে। যেমনঃ Bollinger Bands, Moving Average, parabolic Sar ইত্যাদি। এছাড়াও অনলাইনে হাজার হাজার ইন্ডিকেটর ফ্রি পাওয়া যায়। আপনি সেগুলো মেটাট্রেডারে যোগ করে নিতে পারবেন। গুগলে Forex indicator লিখে সার্চ করলেই অনেক ইন্ডিকেটর পাবেন। এছাড়া বিডিপিপসের "ফরেক্স ইন্ডিকেটর" সেকশনে অনেক ইন্ডিকেটর রয়েছে। যেকোনো ইন্ডিকেটর প্রথমে ডেমোতে টেস্ট করে দেখুন। ফলাফল ভাল লাগলে তারপর রিয়েল ট্রেডে ব্যবহার করুন।
ফরেক্সে প্রফিট করার অনেক উপায় রয়েছে। আর আপনি যখন ইন্ডিকেটর নিয়ে কাজ করবেন, এরা আপনার ট্রেডিং টুলবক্সে একেকটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন টুলস হিসেবে কাজ করবে। আপনার হয়তো ইন্ডিকেটর ব্যবহার করার প্রয়োজন নাও থাকতে পারে, কারন হয়ত আপনি নিজেই অনেক ভাল মার্কেট অ্যানালাইসিস করতে পারেন অথবা আপনার আগে থেকেই পছন্দের ইন্ডিকেটর রয়েছে। কিন্তু নতুন নতুন টুলস আপনার ট্রেডিংকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করবে এবং আপনি আরও ভালভাবে অ্যানালাইসিস করতে সক্ষম হবেন। কিন্তু খুব বেশি ইন্ডিকেটর ব্যবহার না করাই ভাল। ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ইন্ডিকেটর হয়তো আপনাকে আরও দ্বিধাগ্রস্থ করে তুলবে।
সাধারণত পাঁচ ধরণের ইন্ডিকেটর আছে যা ফরেক্স ট্রেডাররা ব্যবহার করে থাকেন, -

শুধুমাত্র একটি ইন্ডিকেটর কখনো অন্ধভাবে অনুসরণ করবেন না। কমপক্ষে ২-৩ টি ইন্ডিকেটর দেখে অ্যানালাইসিস করে ট্রেডের প্রস্তুতি নিন। ইন্ডিকেটর অনেক সময় ভুল সিগন্যাল দেয়।অনেক সময় আমরা ভুল করে একই ধরনের অনেকগুলো ইন্ডিকেটর ব্যবহার করে থাকি। এবার আসুন, কিভাবে একই ধরণের ইন্ডিকেটর চিনবো?
After setting up chosen indicators on a chart, if you see a similar pattern of indicators behavior.
For Example:
If they rise and fall in almost similar intervals, they are most likely identical in the type of data they provide.
In the next page few charts are given with few same indicator.
Note that Momentum indicator, RSI and Ultimate Oscillator:
All behave in a distinctive similar pattern. For quality signals you would need to choose only one of them and exclude others.
RSI is a momentum indicator, MACD – trend indicator and Volume belongs to Volume indicators. Each of them represent price from different angles, providing a complex study of the market.
So Be careful……
Should avoid using too many indicators from the same category. There is also a simple method of identifying similar indicators.
